I have enjoyed photography since I was 10 years old when my Dad, an avid amateur photographer, gave me my first camera. I took quite a few family and pet snapshots and travel photos through the years, but I wasn't really serious about film photography.

I have evolved into a nature photographer the past 10 years since going digital. It opened up a whole new world of wonders and freedom to shoot anytime, anywhere! My favorite subjects are birds, animals, flowers, old homes, and landscapes. My photos have been shown in several exhibits at the Rosenzweig Arts Center. I have taught digital photography classes at Mississippi University for Women as continuing education courses and currently teach digital photography and Photoshop Elements at the Rosenzweig Arts Center. I also offer personal tutoring for computer skills, digital photography, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.
